Reason I Name this Boutique
Rooted in Grace Boutique
On October 17, 2025, I survived abuse from my ex-husband and caring for our daughter, enduring Four months of abuse from. It continued for another 13 months, even after the our baby girl was born and after I moved into the safe house for five months plus God rescue me gave us a special home from someone in the courthouse, Still was more abuse from Court system and him, It was a nightmare. But God Saved Us.
At the time we relocated from Arizona to Virginia, I found myself without family, friends, or a church community for nearly 13 months. However, one day, God bestowed upon me the faith to persevere, bring a smile to my daughter’s face, and continue moving forward. Through Jesus, He blessed me with my daughter. She has saved me, and she is my guiding light, my sunflower.
I’m finding a safer home, strengthening my church family, seeking support from my family, making new friends, embracing a new life, and finding my roots in Christ once again.
This Boutique is more than a name — it is a testimony of survival, healing, and faith. It reflects a journey through domestic abuse, where God protected me and my baby girl, gave us strength when we had none left, and carried us into a new beginning. Rooted in grace means standing firm in God’s love, even after pain, and choosing to bloom again with courage.
This boutique carries a little country charm, a spiritual heart, and the hope of a woman who refused to give up. It is for women who have walked through emotional storms, for survivors who are rebuilding, and for anyone who needs a reminder that God never left their side. He did not give up on us — He gave me more strength, more peace, and the grace to keep going as a single mom.
Rooted in Grace Boutique represents beauty after brokenness, faith after fear, and restoration after hardship. It honors the strength it takes to survive, the tenderness of healing, and the quiet power of God’s love in everyday life. It is a place where faith meets resilience, and where every woman can feel safe, seen, and beautifully restored.
Don’t give up!
If you’re in a domestic violence situation, please walk away immediately.
Don’t look back!
I gave him four out of five chances.
Five times, I walked out with support from my mom (who called from Arizona) and the police. But without my baby girl, I became a fierce advocate for her! I had to wait for two months to see her again, which was incredibly difficult. The shelter and court system was a nightmare, and I had to endure a 50/50 custody arrangement that was incredibly challenging at times. (I’m still working through it, but I pray that it will be resolved soon.) July 2026 is the deadline, and I’m hopeful that I’ll be able to be set free with my daughter. I want her to be safe and to breathe again.
I received Order Protection and a judge’s approval for a two-year order from 2025 to 2028. I’m thrilled! Thank you, Judge.
God was on my side.
